Beyond conventional - Using advanced spectral solutions to expand single cell and population analysis
57:16
As the fields of flow cytometry and spatial biology advance, researchers are uncovering exciting applications for the expanding data from their samples. Innovative reagents, fluidic and optical engineering, and advanced detection technologies significantly boost data speed, accuracy, and depth. Challenges persist, particularly in analyzing rare, clog-prone samples and deconvoluting fluorophore signals. This seminar will showcase data from two new spectral platforms and offer tips for maximizing their capabilities in advanced immunology and oncology research. The spectral-enabled Invitrogen Attune Xenith Flow Cytometer, with acoustic focusing technology, advanced fluidics sensing, and UV to NIR detection helps provide deeper insights into even highly concentrated, high aggregate samples. Its software facilitates switching between conventional compensation and spectral unmixing, offering spillover guidance for each workflow. The Invitrogen EVOS S1000 Spatial Imaging System streamlines whole slide tissue imaging, enabling rapid 9-plex detection by means of integrated spectral unmixing.
