MAGPIX System - How To Generate Data Reports
1:53
The move from multiple protein assays to multiplex assays is now totally within reach! The MAGPIX system is an affordable, compact, fluorescent-based detection system based on Luminex's proven xMAP technology. With the MAGPIX system, every researcher can perform quantitative analysis of up to 50 proteins simultaneously using only 25μl of precious sample. The MAGPIX system is personal, benchtop instrument with out of the box set-up with step by step guide to interactive software and all designed for use with a broad and expanding menu of assay kits. Once you've completed your multiplex experiment and analyzed the data, you'll want to know how to export results to a csv file that can be opened in Excel, and export data as individual analyte reports in the PDF format. If Excel is not installed on your computer, the CSV file can still be captured as a text file. To begin, once the batch is fully analyzed and saved, return to the "Saved Batches" screen and highlight your batch choice. At the bottom of the screen, select "Export CSV" to export the data in csv format. You can browse to identify where you want to save the file. Make sure the file name is correct and click "Save". The CSV file can be opened and each of the statistics can be reviewed such as MFI or median, count, and results. If you want to export data by PDF report, go to the "Reports" tab under "Results" and select your batch choice. To the right of the batch selection, you'll be able to choose the targets for which you would like to generate a PDF report. Once a pdf report is opened, you can scroll through the report to obtain data such as the standard curve results and MFI. Finally, after you've generated all the reports you need, use the "Save All" button to save all the reports as PDFs. You also have the option of saving the file in Excel format by changing the file type to "xls" when saving.
