How to perform hand-held magnetic plate washing for Invitrogen Luminex based multiplex assays
3:02
"This video provides a step-by step guide to perform the manual washing procedure for both the Invitrogen™ ProcartaPlex™ and the Invitrogen™ QuantiGene™ Plex 96-well assays using Invitrogen™ Hand-Held Magnetic Plate Washer. This procedure can be followed when an automated plate washer is not available for the wash steps, allowing for manual liquid reagent evacuation. The Invitrogen™ Hand-Held Magnetic Plate Washer is designed for the Invitrogen™ ProcartaPlex™ and the Invitrogen™ QuantiGene™ Plex assay plate to be clamped securely and for the forceful inversion to remove liquid reagent from the wells while effectively retaining the magnetic assay beads. Evacuated well can then be filled wash buffer or assay reagents as directed by the protocol. For more information, please refer to the manual washing procedure steps in the Invitrogen™ ProcartaPlex™ or the Invitrogen™ QuantiGene™ Plex user guide or contact Technical Support.
