Basics of Rheology and Rotational Rheometry - Part 1 - Theoretical background and dynamic shear viscosity

24:11

In this two part Basics of Rheology series, we explain fundamental rheological concepts, introduce standard measurements to investigate flow and deformation behavior of various samples and connect rheological results to actual applications. Rheological measurements in rotation reflect the flow characteristics during the production process (e.g., agitation, pumping, pipe flows) as well as storage, transport, and applications (such as painting or pressing). In this webinar, part 1, theoretical background and measurement of the dynamic shear viscosity are covered. See part 2 for coverage of yield stress and the time -dependent flow behavior.
